At Dr Mz, our Garden Project is more than just a green space — it’s a vibrant, hands-on experience where young people grow more than vegetables. For many years, our garden project has offered a safe, supportive outdoor environment where over 370 young people annually connect with nature, learn essential life skills, and contribute meaningfully to their community.
Led by our qualified youth workers, the project centres around growing food, cooking with fresh ingredients, and sharing the harvest with each other. Young people gain practical skills, build confidence, and gain a deeper understanding of healthy living and sustainability.
Much of the produce we grow is used in our Youth Café, giving young people the chance to see their hard work come full circle, from garden to plate.
