Our cafe encourages young people to learn and develop basic cooking skills.

We use ingredients grown in the allotment garden to inspire members to create healthy dishes to be enjoyed by all its members.

The café provides young people with training and work experience opportunities and the chance to gain accreditation in Food Hygiene and AGORED awards.

The project is supported by local supermarkets that make regular surplus food donations, giving young people the chance to get creative with food that would otherwise have gone to landfill, encouraging them to think more about waste and sustainability.

This also allows us to support a free meal every Friday.
