“Grow It” Project is a key part of the exciting and innovative project “Grow It Cook it Transform it” funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
The Grow It Project works with young people aged 8 to 25 to learn and share skills in growing food and other plants at our Youth Project’s garden.
The Grow It Project empowers young people to learn new skills in horticulture and small scale food production and inspires them to grow the food they eat.
The food grown in the garden will then be transformed at Dr Mz Diner as part of the “Cook It” Project.
The plants and flowers grown will support the Transform It Project too!
The “Grow It” Project provides young people with new skills, volunteering opportunities and work experience.
It is a cross generational project which will bring community together sharing skills and experiences as well as opportunities to gain Asdan accredited awards.
