Our second set of football for girls sessions starts next Saturday (18th April)

Yesterday, we had a fantastic day volunteering at Tir Awel farm in Kidwelly. Young people learned how to make Shiitake Mushroom logs to grow back in our garden and also helped with watering crops and creating and planting a new onion bed.
We look forward to going back later in the growing season to see Lauren, Dan and the team.

Today we sent off our volunteers on a trip and had a chilled day in the centre with Easter pretzels , hand painting and spring art .Also for the record Ali beat Jack at pool in their first ever match😏

We had a lovely time yesterday learning how to arm wrestle at the community gym at Parc Dewi Sant with @physicalempowermentcic and @aw.daf.

We also had fun trying a range of challenges including grip, balance and weightlifting. We ended with an energetic game of yoga ball dodgeball!

We had lots going on tonight. There was lots of young people at our monthly Youth Forum where we discussed how we feel about a future social media ban! They agreed that young people need support to fill out the government consultation.

We also had lots of creative activities on offer with slime making and chocolate Easter nests.

Jack managed to find time between his Roblox competitions on Rivals to consult young people about updating our menu.

Last night marked the start of our annual Sunflowe

Last night marked the start of our annual Sunflower growing competition. Young people made recycled paper pots and planted their seeds. Let's see who wins.
We were joined by students Eleri and Bradley who are on placement with us at the moment who played lots of games. There was also a very competitive team game of Rivals in the digilab.

Yesterday, our young volunteers made some energy cookies to give our girls taking part in football a bit of a half time boost. Session 3 of Football for Girls was great, we had some new faces and played a really tense match at the end.

The Volunteers turned out earning credits tonight

The Volunteers turned out earning credits tonight by helping around the centre.

We also had a painting session with Hannah and the gang. Chris was reminiscing his childhood by gaming in the digi-lab with the young people, towards the end of the night the young people made some Nutella and Biscoff parcels which were very sweet and all the young people got to try.

Lots of activity last night at Dr Mz! We made orange and sultana oat cookies, Easter rice crispy cake, did lots of mindfulness colouring and started writing our funding bid for StreetGames with our peer mentors. Phew, what a busy night!
