Dr. M’z is holding its first Christmas Lantern Parade on November 27th on the day of the Christmas light switch on in the town.
The aim of the event, which is a partnership with Trysordy, the Town Council and Dr. M’z, is to bring families and the community together to make lanterns to create a wonderful walking display through the town.
We will be holding lantern making sessions at the empty unit in Unit 2 Greyfriars Shopping Centre on the two Saturdays leading up to the event which are November 14th and 21st at 2pm till 4pm
Mr. John Nash, Shopping Centre Manager has been kind enough to allow us to use the unit which is easily accessible to all ages.
The lanterns will be made of willow and paper and will be lit up for the parade.
We are looking for as many groups, families or individuals as possible to participate and join in the fun.
Tom Webb, Digilab Manager at Dr. M’z said, “This is a great opportunity for families to get together to take part in a community event. You don’t need any special skills or equipment to participate. Just turn up”.
